The Wharfedale ELYSIAN 1 Speaker Stands are specially designed for the ELYSIAN 1 loudspeaker, the more compact addition to the award-winning ELYSIAN series.
Standing at the height of 476mm, the Wharfedale ELYSIAN 1 Speaker Stands’ are engineered to new levels of precision with laser cut from high carbon stainless steel.
ELYSIAN is truly an audio engineering work of art.
Description
Designed to serve as the perfect plinth for the ELYSIAN 1 loudspeaker, the stand is sold in stature and the stability is optimised. This considered engineering reduces vibrations and resonance of the speaker’s cabinet by effectively isolating the speaker from the floor and surroundings. The ensured result is a massively improved loudspeaker performance.
Each ELYSIAN 1 Speaker Stand has been designed to complement the natural, wide bandwidth Wharfedale performance; as well as providing a piece of furniture of which the owner can be justly proud. As with the speaker cabinet, the base plate is handcrafted with true piano finish lacquers, and further hand polished to six levels of depth, to give a truly beautiful finish – the perfect match for the ELYSIAN 1 loudspeakers.
Underneath the veneer, working unseen, is a sandwich of different woods designed to reduce panel resonance to below audibility. This multi-layer construction, PROS (Panel Resonance Optimization System), has a further benefit – it inhibits the leakage of unwanted sound energy from inside the cabinet which would otherwise interfere with the forward output of the drive units.
