The 8300MB is a pocket powerhouse, housing 250W of pure, balanced amplification. 8300MB’s full power output is delivered into any loudspeaker load – unconditionally. Massive reserves of power are available for high current drive capability to power and control the mightiest of speakers. This latest development of the audiolab range now features a fully balanced power stage making the most of the balanced XLR inputs. This makes 8300MB a perfect match for the M-DAC using its balanced outputs, even over long cables.

Pure Power
The 8300MB is quite possibly the perfect example of audiolab’s goal to effortlessly reproduce music with exquisite detail. Not only is 8300MB an extremely powerful amplifier, offering 250W of pure power with high current drive capability, but it also features a fully balanced power stage.
Internally the 8300MB is arranged as two complete power amplifiers which are bridge coupled to the loudspeaker terminals. Each power amplification stage is fed from one of the terminals of the balanced input, therefore the 8300MB operates as a fully balanced amplifier right through to the speaker output.
Control anywhere
The 8300CD offers a digital preamp feature, with volume and source selection available on the player’s front panel and remote control. This means that the 8300CD can be connected directly to a stereo power amplifier or to a pair of monoblocks, such as the new Audiolab 8300MB, or to a traditional integrated amplifier, such as the new Audiolab 8300A.
The 8300 Series also allows control of music playback from a PC / Mac / media device via USB. When connected to a computer, the 8300CD not only identifies itself as an asynchronous DAC, but also as a HID (Human Interface Device) compatible device. This allows you to control a PC / Mac / media player without installing drivers (Play, Pause, Stop, song selection, etc.)
The benefits are a high level of noise rejection and lower transient distortion plus the ability of the amplifier to draw maximum current from the power supply as required to follow the musical waveform accurately.
It all adds up to a startlingly vivid and highly impactful musical performance that will put more energy into your loudspeakers as well as control them like never before.
Connectivity
The connection options on the 8300CD have been further expanded with a digital AES / EBU input and a digital XLR output. They follow the complete set of inputs / outputs from 8200CD: 2x coaxial digital input; 2x optical digital input; 1x asynchronous USB input; 1x coaxial digital output; 1x optical digital output; unbalanced RCA and balanced analog XLR outputs.
The 8300A amplifier has been developed with a new phono preamplifier for playing vinyl records in MM or MC configurations accessible via front panel controls.
12V remote start function of all connected devices. Paired devices switch together to or from standby mode.
