Compact size
At less than half the size of a traditional amplifier, the Elac Element EA101EQ-G goes where other amps won’t. Perfect for a desktop or bookcase, this Elac amp is always unobtrusive. It might lack bulk but it certainly doesn’t want for substance or style. The titanium-coloured, metal front and rear panels protect a rigid case with extensive cooling ability – improving the amp’s efficiency, even at higher volumes.
Powerful sound
It might be small, but the EA101EQ-G uses a 40 watt amplifier and powerful processing to great effect. Rather than using a Class-D amp, the Elac makes use of BASH amplifier technology for a sound that’s smooth and natural. The Class AB hybrid amplifier uses rapid switching for low power, efficient-running while still sounding dynamic and lifelike.
Stream music from your mobile with Bluetooth
With a Bluetooth receiver built in, it’s easy to enjoy your music from other devices. Pair with your smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC and wirelessly stream all your favourite music. With the possibility of streaming music services, such as Spotify, Deezer and Tidal, as well as your own music library, you get access to near unlimited music!
Take control with your smartphone or tablet
Available for Android or iOS, the free Elac app lets you take full control of the amp. As well as input, volume and tone controls, the app opens up a massive range of other control options. ABC (Auto Blend Control) measures the response of your speakers and subwoofer and then sets the sub’s output to perfection. The room calibration system alters the sound depending on your room’s acoustics – giving you a flat response in any environment. You can even use the app to learn other remotes you have by simple ‘point and learn’ procedure.
Wire it in with USB, optical or RCA phono
As well as Bluetooth connectivity, the Elac also features a USB interface plus optical, digital and RCA phono inputs. The USB socket is ideal for USB memory devices while the phono inputs let you hook up traditional Hi-Fi sources such as a tuner and turntable with built-in pre-amp. The optical and coaxial inputs are ideal for connecting your TV, Blu-ray/DVD/CD player and music streamer.
