ELAC’s original Uni-Fi bookshelf speakers set a high bar for performance and value, and they racked up lots of rave reviews from Crutchfield customers along the way. ELAC’s UB52 bookshelf pair — from the newly refreshed Uni-Fi 2.0 Series — promises an even better taste of the high-end audio experience, at a price point that’s more accessible than you might expect for speakers this good.

With separate tweeter, mid-range and bass drivers the Uni-Fi UB52 delivers clean bass without distorting vocals.

Sophisticated 3-Way Crossover

An enhanced design improves response linearity, improves driver integration and delivers a true 6-ohm nominal impedance for compatibility with virtually all AV receivers.

Brand new customized concentric converter

The new wideband tweeter enhances the low and high frequency expansion, which it allows

finer blending with the medium converter. Brand new elements used to improve mid frequencies such as
larger diameter voice coil, new aluminum diaphragm, new low profile surround and
new neodymium magnet assembly.

Newly developed 5.25-inch aluminum subwoofer

The newly developed one-piece aluminum membrane has better rigidity. Combined with an oversized magnet, large diameter voice coil, and extended pole piece, these changes result in improved accuracy and bass dynamics.

Robust Cabinets

Every Uni-Fi 2.0 enclosure is engineered with thick MDF outer walls and a luxurious black ash vinyl finish.

Specially located internal bracing adds stiffness and strength to the cabinet’s outer walls, reducing the cabinet vibration that causes unwanted coloration.
