Equally impressive attention to detail is shown by Elac’s crystal membrane woofer units. The woofer uses aluminium-sandwich technology folded to resemble a large crystal. This provides exceptional rigidity and lightness, giving minimal distortion and letting you hear every tiny detail of music.

Powerful bass
Featuring a downward-firing bass port, the FS407 delivers smooth, punchy bass. The downward port makes the speaker easier to positon in your room and also helps reduce distortion to the lowest levels, ensuring the bass timing is always on the beat. Twin bass cones deliver deeper bass, while still keeping the sound punchy.

Sumptuous finish
Every part of the FS407 is finished to the highest standards. At the top, a black anodised aluminium plate enhances the finish.
