Since Uniti Star includes a CD player alongside streaming and amplification technology, our engineers had to pay special attention to preserving thermal stability and decreasing interference between components. The custom-integrated CD drive also doubles as a ripper, making Uniti Star the most versatile all-in-one in the range.

CD Ripping and Storage

Uniti Star offers bit-perfect CD ripping to create files that you can either play back or serve to any UPnP capabale streamer on your home network and then can store them locally on a USB-connected device or SD card, either in WAV or FLAC lossless format. Uniti Star uses a unique ripping engine to ensure that the ripped data represents a faultless replica of the CD, even with badly damaged discs.

Easy App control – in one room or many

The Naim App – available for Apple and Android devices – makes it simple to control your Uniti Star, and even link up other music systems around your home into a stunning multi-room set-up.
Use the App to access all your music, including your favourite radio stations, streaming services and playlists, and explore artist discographies and biographies.

Uniti Star works seamlessly with other Naim streaming products, including Mu-so systems. Choose the same song in beat-perfect sync or play different music in different rooms. You can also pair Uniti Star with other AirPlay 2-compatible wireless speakers via the Apple Home app, or with other Chromecast built-in devices via the Google Home app.
